Dr. Jennifer Walden, pioneering cosmetic surgery for the 21st century.
Dr Jennifer Walden, a native of Austin, Texas, is a board certified plastic surgeon who is currently operating her own private practice and surgery center in Austin.
Dr. Walden graduated as salutatorian of her class from the University of Texas Medical branch after completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas. Upon completing her residency Dr. Walden obtained a fellowship as an aesthetic surgeon at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City. There she continued her practice for seven more years in Manhattan after she finished her fellowship. In 2011 she relocated to Austin and began her private practice in Westlake Hills.
Dr. Walden is highly regarded for her pioneering use of high tech equipment in her practices. As a cosmetic surgeon the look of patients before and after a procedure is very important, Dr. Walden uses Vectra, a three dimensional imaging technology that visualizes the look of patients before a procedure. Dr. Walden has also pioneered the use of ThermiVa, a radio-frequency, temperature controlled system for vaginal tightening and rejuvenation. During her tenure in New York Dr. Walden participated in clinical trials that saw the reintroduction of breast implants to the practice of cosmetic surgery.
