Forbes Billionaire financial expert George Soros has warned of the problems facing the people of Europe and explained his belief that the European Union is on the verge of collapse, according to Forbes. Soros also took the chance of the global platform to express his disdain for the words of Donald Trump and his call for a travel ban on people of the Muslim faith entering the U.S. The founder of the Open Society Foundations believes the words used by Trump have gone some way to assisting terrorist groups like ISIS and others in recruiting new members to their organizations.

In 1979, when the Holocaust survivor saw the estimated value of his hedge fund reach $100 million he created the Open Society Foundations to combat anti democratic actions, according the the George Soros Website. Initially the Foundations were based in apartheid affected South Africa before the charitable foundation looked to complete its work in other areas of the world.
George Soros sees one of the major issues facing Europe and the world as the Syrian refugee crisis that has caused major tensions across Europe in recent months. Soros explained the changes made to open border controls to combat the influx of refugees could be the first steps in the breakup of the European Union, which has already been struggling to survive with a growing number of countries entering economic difficulties as part of the Euro zone.
The final nail in the coffin of the European Union would be the exit of the U.K. from the community, which could occur with the latest referendum on membership of the EU expected to take place in 2016. The continuing British involvement in the European Union will be a major factor in whether the success of the continent wide continues into the middle of the 21st century.
